Yeah. If you miss with the first attack and then activate Gunner for a primary attack, you won't get to make the second attack with the TLT.

At range 2 to 3 primary is only 2 dice. Gunner probably will only be beneficial when your only target is range 1. Shoot with 2 dice, gaining a sheild, and miss then shoot gunner with full 3 dice. Maybe worth it but there's a lot of great rebel crew who don't cost 5 points.

I don't know. It still sounds pretty cool to me. But yeah, that's all true.
