Have they published anything about an updated scoring chart for the final round? Or are we going to use the 300-point MoV's for a 400-point final round?
I mean, it probably won't really matter in almost every case...
Or is that final game the only determining factor between first and second? So if A has 25 points and B has 18 going into the last round, and B wins the last round with a 15-point margin, will B get first place?
Based only on the wording of the article, it sounds like final round is winner take all.
No, the Swiss rounds have no effect on the final round. It is a strait head to head winner takes all regardless of who was first going into the final round.

Good sheet, but you're doing MoV wrong. Or rather I guess it's not really MoV it's the points destroyed. So
MoV = just the number used at the end of a game to determine the split of the 10 tourney points
Tournament points/victory points = First tiebreaker
Running total of point totals for that player from each game (what is referred to as MoV on the sheet, more or less) = Second tiebreaker
So basically all I'm saying is it's still a good idea (and I believe the tournament rules) for the loser to still keep track of the points they did earn in a game instead of getting a 0

I have updated the document a bit to use direct quotes from the Rules Reference. Unfortunately, since I am about to start work, dropbox is blocked to me here. I will update the dropbox copy this evening. Thanks for the critique.
You don't use a running total of points at all.
First you go by Tournament Points.
If players are tied, you calculate their total margin of victory for games they won (if they lost, MoV is 0). Since you are recording their MoV for each game, you just add it together. No need for running total of points.
If they are still tied, then you add up the tournament points of their opponents to get strength of schedule. Higher strength of schedule wins.
I have added the Tournament points table, and explanation, to the handout. My original intention was that, as TO, I would be doing those calculations and keeping track of Tournament points. But in hindsight it is probably a better idea to include all of that data for the players so they are informed about exactly how they are ranked. But again I will have to wait until this evening before I can upload the updated sheet.

I think it is fine to inform them, but you should still do the calculations. I've already talked to several people attending my event that I would not trust doing it themselves.
