This weekend there will be many venues hosting the Massing at Sullust. I wish everyone the best of luck and hope you enjoy yourself immensely. Now, however, I am curious what lies further down the road for Armada organized play.

Surely the Tournament rules will soon be updated to, at the very least, update the Margin of Victory table to the 400-point standard. We’ve already had the spring and summer tournament kits. Now I wonder when we will get the autumn tournament kit? What sort of alternate art cards, dice bags and metal will be in it? I'm hoping to have a November or December tournament (or a league) providing Sullust is as much of a success as I hope it will be.

I doubt the point limit will be upped until Wave 2 is actually released. I know my next OP event I'll be preparing for is Worlds in November. I'll be cramming a lot of games in over the next month to prepare.

They don't do an autumn kit, that is correct. At least if they aren't breaking the norm from the other games I've played of theirs (X-Wing, SWLCG, Netrunner - for example, all games that have been out at least 1+ years)

Typically they do:

Winter, Spring, Summer kits. Normally winter kits will probably arrive Nov/Dec and last us until March, then Spring kits will come around, and a few months later, Summer.

MC80 assault cruiser is probably the next top 2 kit prize, and raider 2 or glad 2 for paticipation. They seem to only make the more expensive version of ships, so no glad 1 I don't think, but who knows. Won't get alt art of something like x17s, that's how they sell Neb Bs. They tend to alt art useful, but not difficult to get upgrades. Gunnery Team, Enchanced Armament, Expanded Hangers etc. are good canidates. Or they might stick to Commanders for now. It was interested they chose to make the Mon Mothma the size they did. A couple alt art upgrade cards have been alt art prizes for x-wing, and were still the upgrade card size.

I know we have a backlog of spring and summer kits to work through, depending on the store. I'm perfectly fine getting more of the Navigate and Concentrate Fire tokens, but I am eager to get the others as well, so that I can lay my cardboard tokens to premature rest.

While I like the alt art cards, I'm mostly keeping them for a couple of years from now when n00bs will start wanting them.

Furthermore, I'm hoping they keep doing the medals. I've got a black military-style shirt/jacket that's already clanging like an Italian generalissimo. I want more. I'm thinking of wearing it this weekend for Sullust.
