AoR Skype/Google Hangout

By -Spaceman Spiff-, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

I'm loving the Age of Rebellion game but I'm stuck running adventures for my teen/preteen kids.

I'm jonesing for a grown-up RPG. Anyone interested in having an AoR adventure via Skype/Google Hangout? Possibly pick a day/time a week to run a campaign.

Hi Jim! I see it's an older post, but are you still looking for players? Me and my two friend are looking for a GM for AoR. I see that you live in Portland while we are Hungarians so we'd have to find a suitable time for all of us.

That could be great. I love the idea. I haven't GM for a distance adventure before but I have a just enough experience with Google Hangout to make this work. I'm guessing that works for everyone there. Yes? I know they have a AoR dice app that can run on screen during GH so I can look into this more. I could foresee doing something on a Saturday; evening for you and a.m. for me; should work easy enough. Does your group have a lot of experience with AoR or would this be a beginning group? Could you let me know any of the published campaigns the group has played? I'm guessing language is not an issue. I have part of my family origins from Hungary so this is cool for me but I'm afraid the language didn't get passed on. I'd have to use only English. My only other language is Russian and even that is not conversational. :-) How soon do you think your group would like to start?

Keep me posted. I'm really liking the idea.

Hy Jim!

I'm a friend of Nasz. We were thinking about this whole game, and the saturday evening sounds manageable, but sunday would be better, and we'll have to lay down an exact time, because our third friend is a bit limited in time. Our english is good, we've already played with people from other countries, mostly with homebrew adventures, but we played the "Enemy of my Enemy" campaign.

Also, we think that a 0. session would be nice, we're open for that any day of the week, Nasz is available for it anytime, I'm only on afternoons.

Also hangouts is everything we need.

+1 For a campaign if possible.

Not really played much of AoR, but have played significant amounts of EotE, in person and by Play-by-Post, including GM'ing a few campaigns.

I am British, so somewhat between the present timezones signed up, but work shifts, so I am pretty all over the place when it comes to suitable times.

Hi Finest I don't think anyone would object to a fourth player.

When could we make a session 0? For now we couldn't make characters because we don't know what's the setting and theme or what books can we use.

So if we could come up with a time it'd be great. At least two of us available every afternoon and night. As I heard from the others this week only the sunday would be good for us to actually play..

I am pretty freely available, but my availability changes week on week as I work shifts, so I would have to play it by ear.

I have a copy of AoR and EotE, so whichever we go with is fine.

Hi guys,

I'm really looking at this and I don't think I can pull off a time that would work for European players. I'm sorry. I've thought the idea is so cool I've been trying to think of was to get my schedule to work but I can't right now. Very sorry.

Finest, you think you could GM for these guys?

It's a possibility, thought it might have to be Play-by-Post due to time constraints. And it would probably have to be EotE as opposed to AoR as I don't have much experience of playing AoR, let alone GM'ing it.

If anyone is interested in trying a campaign in the states I'd still be interested, I just can't work a schedule with that many time zones.

Howdy Pardner, Me and my posse are out here in the wild west. We've got ourselves a sit down style game goin' on Saturdays at 4 PM MST until we feel like shutting down. The gaming store has a pretty good wireless connection so we could Skype yerself in I suppose. Drop me a line at my email address, graves(dot)scott(at)gmail(dot)com and we will work out the details.

I've had the AoR rulebook & beginners game for months and have been dying to find someone to play with; no flesh and blood friends seem to be interested!

I'm in England so anyone Europe or East Coast with a seat free for a session please let me know!
