Howlrunner - When she pays off

I recently had some success with VI on howlrunner. PS10 in a soontir vader jake etc matchup is good. Determination is overrated :)

3 is fine. Remember she doesn't only work with ties. Shuttles and interceptors and Firesprays all like her ability too.

Aye, I've considered flying her with Kir Kanos (who, I'm proud to say, I've had some success with as of late!!!). Could be amusing.

If you've currently got 60 points tied up in five Academy Pilots what is the other 40 points of your squadron? Now if you want to keep that 60 points of TIE support there are so many things that could be done dropping from five down to four ships:

1. Howlrunner (plus 3 points of upgrades) + 3 Obsidians may push you above optimal blocking but also pushes you over the Predator line and above some of newer Rebel swarms filled with PS 2 ships.

2. Howlrunner, APx2, other named TIE (Dark Curse works best in formation but if this is a flanking unit Backstabber draws more attention.) with a minor upgrade.

3. Howlrunner + 3pt survival, BSP + DtF, AP x2 or even Howlrunner, BSP+DtF x2, AP.
