I have 35 points left and need some kind of arc-dodger. Which one you would prefer? Any good and bad experiences playing with or against the listed ship?

Vader + VI + Engine Upgrade + Advanced Targeting Computer (or other system upgrade?)

Soontir + PTL + AT + Stealth Device

Carnor + PTL + AT + Stealth Device

Other ships and pilots?

I mean, all three are solid, but what's the rest of the list like? Will it benefit more from Carnor's aura or Soontir's aggro? Although without the extra point or two for Lone Wolf or Predator on Vader he's probably the weakest option of the three.

Would benefit more from Carnor, although the PS level of 8 would be a hurdle against other vader and soontir builds.

Yes, you are right, Vader is missing a little bit of offensive punch. It´s hard to balance between "attack is the best defense" and pure fear to loose a ship

You could run a couple TIEs with some good upgrades too. Depending on the rest of your build the TIEs could be a good distraction while adding some extra attack dice.

I do love Soontir for arc dodging. I have Vader on a couple lists now but haven't really had a chance to test him out.

I think Carnor functions as pretty good Soontir insurance if you can hug the Baron without getting shot. If nothing else you make a pretty solid "no-go" zone since Fel needs those tokens so badly. But yes, that's the trick of PS8. Do you think the rest of your list can get Fel or Vader in-arc?

I'm guessing you're hitting 100 points with the build (since you are being so specific about the 35 points left). If that is indeed the case Soontir is going to end up with initiative and have a rough time vs other ps9. I would therefore instead go for VI Vader.

Carbor is cool and fun but needs to be built around to be worth it over the Baron.

Colonel vessery leave him near the rear so he's not the primary target and watch him rip things apart.

Hard choice. Vader ATC is a reliable damage dealer, but carnor is so useful.

soontir is great, and amazing as an arc dodger, but vader and carnor can be tanky.

I'd pick Carnor out of the three I think with vader a close second. I prefer running him with Predator.

Soontir, highly suggest changing stealth device for targetting computer. Barrel roll for arc dodge, ptl target lock, get a focus from stress, he is now able to pew pew alot more effectively.
