I am picturing this list as surging forwards, kicking up space dust with the EUs/Boost actions, then blowing past the enemy and kickin LR, and having Guri S-turn to lay on the hurt in their rear ends. I originally had PTL on Guri, then read how PTL isn't that great of an EPT for her so I changed it to Predator.

Thoughts? I've never actually flown this list.

if you have to put EU on it just for boost, you're probably better off not bothering

the poor aces are exceptionally expensive for flying porcelain vases and they will reliably let you down. To compare, 3 Marauders cost the same but come with one whole ship more.

Guri + predator + FCs is also highly redundant.

also, K is for K-wing. The unpronounceable fighter is the Special-K

Guri + 3 generic Khiraxz is a solid and potent list. I've used it a few times and its very similar to 3 generic advanced + Fel/Vader. The difference is that the 3 advanced are more durable (accuracy corrector + evade most turns), but 3 attack dice give the khiraxz a really potent range 1 damage burst. Khiraxz also has the ever useful 5 k-turn and 1 hard turn.

Another fun team for Guri is a pair of thugs/hired guns with TLT and either engine or R4 (or both!). What? Engine on low PS? Yes! With TLT, the engine really helps keep the enemy at R3 (ideal for TLT) and allows you to mercilessly hunt down large based ships that also have engine, or get out of R1 if they try to boost in close to you to deny your TLT shots. Examples:

thug w/ TLT, R4 + engine = 30

hired gun w/ TLT + engine = 30

Hired gun at PS 4 gets better mileage out of the engine vs enemy PS 3 or less, but loses R4 for more reliable damage

I have flown Guri many times and feel that the best loadout on her is Lone Wolf, virago, sensor jammer & autothrusters. At 39 pts, she fits well with 3 cartel marauders or a pair of one of the above y-wings. It works better with the y-wings because with 3 khiraxz, lone wolf is harder to keep on (can switch for predator though)

I also like her with Push the limit, advanced sensors, autothrusters & virago, but definitely more fragile against turrets.

Very interesting - personally, I like keeping Guri as is, then drop down to 3 Cartel Marauder K-Fighters. I feel like the K-fighters are great, but get burned down pretty fast.

Good call on FCS with Predator. When I read the cards I just see awesome, but that doesn't mean they'll be awesome on every ship. I am still a pretty newb player. I don't play in tournaments to really see how top lists actually perform to know how to try and make my own tournament style list.

I might try out the double Y wings with TLT with Guri, but since wave 7 I just adore the looks/style of the Kihraxz fighter. Smooth and sleek.
