Just picked up the Force Awakens starter set and imperial aces. I'm trying to make an imperial list that is 'mildly' competitive with these until my collection expands (I'll be adding Howlrunner, Vader, and a few other things next pay day!).

What I thought up was:

TIE/fo Fighter: · "As Omega" (20)
Push The Limit (3)
Shield Upgrade (4)

TIE Interceptor: · Carnor Jax (26)
Push The Limit (3)
Targeting Computer (2)
Royal Guard TIE (0)
Hull Upgrade (3)

TIE/fo Fighter: · "Epsilon Leader" (19)
Weapons Guidance (2)

TIE Interceptor: Alpha Squadron Pilot (18)

When TIE/FO expansion pack comes out, comm relay will be better than shield on omega ace (1 pt cheaper too)

Jax will really appreciate autothrusters if you can get a copy (or two, because the alpha interceptor wouldn't mind one too if it possible to squeeze in by changing weapon guidance on epsilon leader to crack shot or another useful 1 pt elite)

Drop the targeting computer on Jax for something that will make him a little more robust (I think). Since you don't have stealth device or autothrusters, I'd use a shield upgrade on him. That requires you to drop two points somewhere else. Not sure about TIE/fo stuff b/c I don't have any yet, but maybe drop one of the pilots down to a 2-point-cheaper one. Jax is the key to the list, and you need to protect him. (Of course, this could all be about how much I love interceptors; good choice with PTL on him by the way)

“Epsilon Leader” (19)

Carnor Jax (33) TIE Interceptor (26), Push the Limit (3), Shield Upgrade (4)

Saber Squadron Pilot (21)
