Rag Tag: A Rebel Convoy

With wave 7 and the current state of the game I thought I'd try a list that plays both to my strengths, preferred faction, and what I want in a list:

I really want to keep the HLC and think the 2400 is great without the title.

Will it be competitive? Should I swap the Y for two Bandits or vice versa? Does this totally pale compared to BBBBZ?

Two red dice from the bandits is not a threat.

And the Fringer would have a hard time keeping the enemy in the HLC arc, without title.

Actually, I think this is an excellent list.

I've had good luck with a WSF without the Outrider title. Between the excellent dial and the barrel roll, you'll be able to get that HLC on-target most of the time.

The TLT Y-wing makes a great secondary target as well, being able to hit just about anything that dodges the WSF.

Finally, a swarm of 3 Z95s will put the hurt on if they get close, and make good blockers as well.

Considering the list has 30HP to chew through, with 22 of those behind 2 green dice, I think it has a lot going for it.

Swapping Gold for Roark allows the HLC Fringer to fire before Phantoms (which are prominent in local meta). I hate to lose Recon Specialist, but it might be worth the hit to potentially severely damage aces before they can fire back. Still deciding on the best filler for two points between Nien Nunb or Jan on Roark. Ideally Roark can stay far enough back to be defending at R3, so I wonder if having an Evade token per round is better than being able to 4 forward out of the fray.

Is the Gold still better? If not, Jan or Nien? Is there a better option for the Fringer I haven't considered for 1-2 point crew? (Han crew? Low PS makes me say no) Drop two Bandits for Cracken with ST and a missile for PS12 alpha with HLC Fringer?

DECISIONS

How about Intelligence Agent on the WSF? That way, if you may not have a shot, you can at least get an idea if you can barrel roll the WSF somewhere to troll-block one of the opponent's ships.

In general, I like the 1st list better. WSF w/ HLC and no title is a decent HLC platform thanks to the barrel roll.

But if high PS phantoms are a problem, the switch to roark makes sense. I like the idea of Jan on roark better than nien numb, but on the other hand, intel agent on WSF is really good too...
