Just bought the Force Awakens starter so obviously taking the boys out for a spin was a must!

Rebels/Resistance:
- Blue Squadron pilot + Autoblaster + Accuracy Corrector
- Blue Ace + R7-T1 + Autothrusters
- Poe + BB8 + PTL + Autothrusters
Imperials/Order:
- 4 Academy pilots
- Omega Ace/Leader? + an EPT... can't recall
- Another First Order unique pilot, the Ace/Leader who removes stress
-- The rest of the points were various modifications and upgrades. Can't recall exactly.
The Blue Squadron B-Wing, with its heavy autoblaster, leads the charge into the swarm...
....and in one volley obliterates the lead TIE Fighter, having its heavy shielding absorb the hail of fire from the remaining Academy TIEs.
The shootout becomes a melee as the B-Wing and Academy TIEs perform stressful K-turns and the supporting First Order TIEs and T-70 X-Wings join the fray. The Imperials lose one more TIE and one of the leading First Order TIEs loses his shielding. The B-Wings shielding finally succumbs to relentless barrage of laser fire.
The X-Wings cover the withdrawal of the wounded B-Wing, with one chasing the fleeing Acadamy TIEs, and the other engaging the pair of First Order pilots.
The game is still up for grabs as the pilots jockey for position...
... Then two more TIEs fall to the Rebel aces and heavy autoblaster, though heavy damage rocks what is left of the B-Wing.
The 2 remaining Imperials form up for one final charge at the Rebel squadron, but are both destroyed as the Rebels launch their own counter attack.

It was our first match after taking a long hiatus from the game, so in my opponent's defense the game served largely as a refresher (i.e. Autoblasters = bad haha). And to his credit our rematch later that day was a nail-biter with the finale being decided in a 1 v 1 dogfight between a T-70 and TIE Advanced.
All in all though I loved the T-70s. Especially Poe with the 3 action combo allowed through BB8. I go back and forth on whether or not BB8 or R5P9, but I think I'll stick with BB8 for now since its just such a joy to fly. When another high PS T-70 comes around with an EPT slot I think I'll switch Poe over to R5, but until then I think he will be my go to for the BB8+PTL combo. And my opponent swore by the stress eliminating ability allotted to him by the FO TIE especially with PTL on the Omega Ace, so wins all around.
