It has been very quiet on the Armada front as the fleets mass at Sullust for a skirmish and taste of what's to come for Armada Wave 2.

I am happy to announce (officially unofficial and discreetly of course) that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the Wave 2 release.

I was just notified that orders for US distributors are due on October 13th.

**Speculation!** It looks like we're going to have a mid-late November release for wave 2.

I, for one, am looking forward to see how the community utilizes the new pieces and am excited to see the paint jobs and conversions that come along with it.

When my Bothans report back on when the official street date is you will know.

Local game store got the word from one of the Distributors to expect it around the 16th. Now this might be the earliest date for wave 2 and it seems like a good date for me most prerelease events happen a week or two before normal release. Also seeing as the next wave of Xwing is due out in November so odds are they don't want to overlap releases.

I'd be skeptical that X-Wing Wave be will be out in November. Probably Q1 '16.

wow, a Christmas wave. (When I hear a late [month], what I really processes is a early [month+1])

If I was told it would be here in December back in June/July, I wouldn't of believed that.

But, to be fair, finally releasing some information on the ships, and doing the MaS event makes it seem a lot better.

Thanks Newt! I hope its true, but I also hope for sooner. Sooner would be so much better, ridding the Sullust high! Oh, dreams.

Yea, one of the stores I frequent told me that they needed an order in by the 13th.

Yeah I got my order in, can't wait for November. I know what I'll be giving thanks for this year.

Newt has been wrong, but that was due in large part to the worker issue at the docks.

But nothing in that post says anything about X-Wing which is what people are skeptical about. Right now Wave 8 still shows as In Development so the very idea that it could go from that state to stores by mid Nov seems pretty far fetched.

The only way that's going to happen is if it's actually been at the printers for a while now and is ready to put on the boat tomorrow.

I am heading back to my local gameshop tomorrow. I am taking my Imperial Raider with me (I got it as the Sullust Tournament Organizer). I hope I can find an opponent for a casual game so I can use it. I really, really want to get my hands on the other ships and squadrons.
