Going 3-0 doesn't guarantee you top 2. If you win 7-3, 7-3, 6-4, there's still a chance you end up behind at least 1 if not more 2-1's who had higher MoV in their wins.
Sullust: What lists are you afraid of?

Unless your name is Darth Lupine who ALWAYS gets 10-0 wins ![]()
I think a fighter heavy build may be hard to go against. And also multiple GSD's only because I haven't played against something like that.
But I don't mind trying.
It depends on what each persons term for heavy is.
Mine is max squadron value of my carriers. That is heavy squadron for me since it ends up being about 70 some off points.

I'm taking 6 Rebel Squadrons at 75 points...
Honestly, i wanted to take more - but I didn't want to drop that Second Neb-B down to a Corvette to do it...

3 A- Wings and 3 B-Wings?

AHHHHH I am liking the A-Wings. While the Escort can be great for the B-Wings to survive, I have found that using the B's to slam an area hard enough followed by my ships attack is usually enough to ruin days or lead to that.
My Sullust list has 2 B's and an A. I've tried heavy Rebel fighter lists and found them underwhelming vs an equivalent Imperial heavy fighter list. But without more practice, I'd be a **** fool to add more to my list.
My favorite Imp list with fighters is a 2 VSD w/ Motti, and a total of 8 squads (Howlrunner escort wing and a Rhymer ball). I'm expecting an ISD list can be built using the same thought process.
I'm loving B-Wings for the fact that I can park on an Obstacle, and still fire at Ships who are trying to pass... If they're avoiding that, then they're generally entering a AFMKII+2xNeb Kill-Box

That's where I'm evolved from... I seem to have increased the existance of Imperial Squadrons fourfold after switching to Rebels myself ![]()
I am actually changing allegiance to the Rebels for Sullest. 2 x AF, 1 x CR-90, 3 x A-wing. The most "dangerous" list is VSD's with Motti as they are VERY hard to kill and get the 9+ win.
The list I least want to see:
Did you really think I was going to tell you that right before the tournament?

to fake people out, yes
