Yet another Massing at Sullust Rebel List

Hi all,

Here's a list I am considering for massing at sullust. Any constructive feedback is appreciated.

300 Pts - Rebel Alliance Fleet

1 Assault Frigate Mark II A, 81 pts
1 General Dodonna, 20 pts
1 Intel Officer, 7 pts
1 Gunnery Team, 7 pts
1 Advanced Projectors, 6 pts
1 XI7 Turbolasers, 6 pts
Squad (1#, 107 pts)
1 Assault Frigate Mark II A, 81 pts
1 Intel Officer, 7 pts
1 Gunnery Team, 7 pts
1 Advanced Projectors, 6 pts
1 XI7 Turbolasers, 6 pts
Squad (1#, 50 pts)
1 CR90 Corvette B, 39 pts
1 Leia Organa, 3 pts
1 Overload Pulse, 8 pts
Squad (1#, 11 pts)
1 A-Wing Squadron, 11 pts
Basically the purpose of this is for the AF2's to circle around dishing out broadsides (gunnery teams let me target both ships and squadrons from a side arc). CR90 is there to let me change command dials as needed on the AF2's, and drop the defenses on anything that gets too close. A-wing is sacrificial lamb meant to tie down any squadrons that get to close so the ships can shoot and scoot.
Not sure about objectives yet.

I like the idea but why the AF A and not the B

Are you worried about squadrons? Dropping to the B's will save you some points. Also would drop Dodonna for Garm possibly...but if you like Dodonna give the Corvette the Dodonna Pride title. That will help getting some crits through.

Just my opinion.

Dropping to the AF B on both them will give you another 18 points. Then you can add another A wing squadron, upgrade to Garm and still have some points over for a bid if required.

If you're not worried about the bid then when if you add the additional Awing then make him Tycho

What is your plan if the person playing you decides to say screw it and I'm playing for a draw? Make sure your objectives force a battle.

The primary reason I went with the AF A's was for the extra squadron dice. I'm kind of hedging my bets because I kind of expect to see at least 1 squadron heavy rebel list, or possibly a rhymer bomb

I'm only running 1 A and 2 B Wings. But I'm also rocking an Neb Escort. I'm hopeful that that will be enough to help in the event of a fighter heavy list. But otherwise I'm in the same 2 AF neighborhood as you.

The only objectives left for my to Pick are my yellow one. Can't decide between Hyperspace Assault and Fire Lanes. Outpost scares me and I just don't get Fleet Ambush.

I would go Hyperspace Assault, if your opponent Chooses that one you can have a whale and a pair of B-wings end up in the rear arc of one his ships
