I just caped my mobile data downloading this it better be a good show :)

Just to clarify with regard to the K-Wing bomb dropping, I think that most people agreed the article misrepresented the rules and that it wasn't technically a nerf. IE, the way the rules involved read, the article was allowing an illegal play. Whether that's semantic or not is up to interpretation, but it was more of an error than a change.

Richard was one of the people I thought of when IA first came out, as it would go really well on his Regionals list.

Wedge, Draw Their Fire, R2D2, Integrated Astromech

Biggs, R5D6, Integrated Astromech

Gold Squadron, R3A2, Ion Turret, BTL title

Bandit

You still have three points left over to play with, which is enough to upgrade the Bandit to a Prototype Pilot, promote the Bandit and Gold into a Tala and Grey, or just do a mild 1-2 point upgrade and bid for initiative.

I am really looking forward to playing with the new X-Wing fix myself.

I really like the idea of the XXBBZ list myself!

Whoa. How long can Bob talk for if you just let him go?

Yeah, Flight Deck ate the podcast this week (I haven't gotten to the news yet). Love the podcast, but I don't really need a play-by-play of all the games, especially one we can watch. A quick summary of lists and key lessons would suffice for me.

I skipped the 50 mins of useless blather and it feels great.

MJ as Paul said in his commentary, "Pick up the pace". While I love hearing about your games, I think a cliff notes version would be better for the listeners. After a while I just tuned out. When you did a whole other tournament before talking all about the Nova Open that was a bit much. I think ED said lets pick up at your top 16, but you did the whole tournament. Please take this as constructive criticism and not as anything against you. I'm very happy on how you did.

I don't understand how people thought that Engine Upgrade was immune from (old) damaged sensor array. It specifically said your action bar gains <boost>. (old) Damaged sensor array said you can no longer perform actions from your action bar. The upgrade wasn't an action but added an action to the action bar. Oh well guess it doesn't matter anymore, best to make things simpler so people can't pull fast ones.

The editors of the show would like it to be known that those responsible for the excessive battle reports have been sacked. The rest of the show has been put together at the last minute and at great expense.

Haha. Respect.

I will say, now that I've listened to the news segment, that I enjoyed that discussion and particularly the in-depth analysis of recent changes. Finally just started the "main event" discussion on the new core -- kind of OBE as long as it has been out now.

FYI for the cast, in Armada initiative does not pass back and forth between players.

I skipped the 50 mins of useless blather and it feels great.

Yeah... The Flight Deck part really needs to be kept in check. 4 to 5 minutes a piece of what build you have had success (or not) with. Not 30 minutes of rambling on about every detail of a match you had.

Otherwise you do a fine job breaking down and reviewing new releases.

Ok, curb Bob some... got it... LOL

Love ya Bob!

Competing view: I like the round by round. Especially when it's an event I've attended. Almost as good as playing one of you and hearing about my game (hasn't happened yet) is hearing how you played against the same opponents.

Really? I enjoy the podcast, but the extensive detail there is terrible listening. I've scrubbed through it in recent podcasts. In this one, I was shocked at just how much I had to skip...;).

Noted... Again I felt that Bob had a lot to add with his NOVA coverage which was not on the NOVA show. We will make sure to shorten those up a bit.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Sounds like the good Doctor needs his own show. aka rambling Bob Randell. Sorry I couldn't resist piling on a little. Love the show guys keep it up!

I, for one, like Bob's in depth analysis during the flight deck. I like how he breaks down what his thoughts were going into the matches, and how he was or was not able to execute his plan. I like hearing the reasoning behind his moves. I feel like I'm learning something.

Yeah, we get so many on and off things...some people love this and others wish we didn't do it.

Overall, we do try to accommodate as many as we can but in the end we are never going to please everyone.

I wouldn't worry too much about having too much content. You've got the material, use it. You're a podcast, not a television show. If people want to skip stuff, they can skip it. You don't have to fit into a time slot.

What he said. I'd rather have it and enjoy it and possibly skip it rather than miss it.

As long as they keep up the detailed show notes.
