Wampas Stats

Does anyone know of any Wampa stats that are out there? Official preferred...but not required.

My bet is that Strongholds of Resistance will, since it features Hoth. Assuming they didn't already put the Wampa elsewhere already, that book should be out very soon. Already on the boat for 2 months.

Need it by tomorrow night. This is what I went with:

They might be Silhouette 2 instead of the normal 1. I remember them being as big as a Tauntaun at least.

Also, maybe add the Knockdown effect to the claw attack?

Upon quick reflection, I've added knockdown and vicious 1 to the claws, and given them a 3 in agility

Nice,,, and for that other post about Sith temples and associated nasties,, give it brown, mottled or black fur, add an 'S' and you have the Swampa...

I'm curious: Are you making the stats so high because you think it's accurate or to adjust the challenge level

Is the encounter supposed to be a single wampa, or a small pack? If its the former, why not make it a nemesis level threat?

I am not recalling, and don't have my book handy, What effect does Silhouette size have on Personal scale combat?

I think GM Dave statted up a wampa in his adventure "Ice Station Zulu". Maybe ask him or download the module from D20.

Silhouette matters for the cost of advantages to use knockdown on larger targets and adjusts difficulty to hit with attacks when the difference is 2 or more.

As you're using Brawl for the attacks, aren't knockdown and disorient qualities already added to the attacks, per unarmed combat rules?

p212 of the EotE CRB deals with Silhouette differences. Basically, +/-2 silhouette differences add/remove a die from the difficulty of hitting.

Good choice on the intelligence as they are more cunning, but given that Willpower is used for vigilance (to represent their surprise attack), 2 seems appropriate.

They could have a lower Willpower plus ranks in Vigilance, right? ;)

Ok...I'm sold. 2 ranks of Vigilance and 1 Wilpower. Other option would be 2 Ranks in Cool (see what I did there)? This would represent it's stalking of pray and effectively setting an ambush

Non-useful comment: When I first glanced at the title of this thread I read it as, "SWampass Stats".

I could have sworn I've seen official stats for them somewhere... perhaps in one of the Beta books?

The Hoth section in AoR mentions wampas.... but I can't find any stats.. Good call FFG, you stepped up to the mark there *facepalm*... mind you if Hoth is in the base sourcebook hopefully the stats will be in there ;)
