Does anyone play that you have to ditch your mules or horses at the entrance of the dungeon or city? I believe that was a 3rd edition rule, was it not?
Just curious.

Hi buddy it was a 2nd edition rule (although I'm not saying that isn't a rule in 3rd
)
I was thinking about playing buy those rules a few games ago...but then by the latter part of the game I was in the dungeon with horse, warhorse and mule with loads of objects and utilising the horse's roll 2 dice for movement ability; having a grand old time in there...and i thought.....screw that rule right up its arse!!!
hahahahaha

Maybe it was, but it's not in 4th edition, so no.
That is a terrible rule!
I remember this from 2nd edition. It helped balance the advantage of oppurtunity in the dungeon such as vanquished enemies, things you could collect and being able to get to the crown of command versus having to decide whether it was worth ditching stuff or losing mobility. However I am not sure this is necessary with 4th ed. But I would be happy to play this way.
