2v2v2 Who would Win?

By Rogue Dakotan, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Vader/Royal Guard Champion

vs

Boba Fett/IG-88

vs

Han Solo/Chewbacca?

Who would win in a 2v2 situation? Who would win in a 2v2v2 situation?

Fight to the death. Each team gets a command card deck using regular rules.

Are you ready to rumble?!

Boba/Iggy win with the ability to recover, unless the other 2 teams do a team up to take them down. In that case, Vader/RGC win through sheer damage output against Chewie/Han.

Vader / RGC because of brutality.

If played well, Boba could give a lot of problems with his movement and mobility, but the RGC moves 6 as well.

And the dark force user cards are brutal.

Vader / RGC because of brutality.

I'm pretty sure if someone competent plays the others brutality will virtually never be useable.

Yeah I cant imagine anyone not running away from vader.

This would be fun to watch.

Is it me, or is Han kinda weak for a big fight like this? Is he tougher than Luke?

He's more expensive than Luke. I figured he and Chewie should be together. He has cunning, and if he sticks next to Chewie, they're both pretty defensive.

Well, Fett and IG88 would turn on each other, which would be their downfall, so I think it comes down to Vader and RGC vs The Falcon Boys. Gotta fancy Vader in that matchup, assuming it's a fight to the death. If there are objectives to take, I'd fancy Han and Chewie to win those and then run away.

The RGC move is 6, unless he is killed off, he'll move next to someone, then since initiative switches, he'll get brutality off. Vader, thanks to all the movement cards around, can do the same thing.

That requires someone leaving their two ranged figures in the same 3x3 grid against them.

only 3x3? Player A has initiative, goes- Player B moves Vader/RGC next to ranged guy within 4 to 12 spaces. End of turn. Player B has initiative- uses Brutality.

Barring keeping 12+ spaces away or the death of the RGC, brutality will happen.

Nobody is doubting that Vader or the RGC will be able to make attacks. But what you're describing there is a regular attack.

Brutality allows Vader or the RGC to attack two DIFFERENT targets on his turn, using just 1 action. So I agree with Norgrath: no competent player will allow his pieces to be brutalized...he will keep them at least 2 squares away from each other at all times.

Keeping your guys apart would really hurt Chewie and Han. I think the edge goes back to Boba and Iggy, since they're not depending on each other.

Yeah... that was me being a dumbass, sorry.

Vader and RGC would win, as long as there were no alliances.

Neither IG-88 or Boba Fett are as tough as the Imperials, and Fett's speed is matched by RGC.

Han and Chewie's strength comes from standing next to each other, which they can't do if they are fighting against guys with brutality
