My 1st ever actual Imperial list that I made for Sullest (if I play Imperials).
Vic 1
Screed
H9
Warlord
Vic 2
H9
Dominator
Glad 1
Intel Officer
ACM
Demolisher
Most Wanted
Contested Outpost/Hyperspace Assault
Minefields
Total = 300
Look good?

I think Contested outpost would work better for you than hyperspace assault. That will bring your opponent to you where you can hammer them.

That's my theory as well ![]()
I ask myself how often H9 on dominator works.
Why not vic 1 with dominator and H9 and the Vic with H9 and warlord? You equilibrate the points, give medium range to your vic 1. And equilibrate the accuracy.
Dominator+H9 gives you an accuracy as minimum on the vic 1 and warlord clean the accuracy excess on your vic 2.
And it's the same list anyway.

Advanced Gunnery (on the Glad)
I find the fighters are great for handling bombing runs without too much of an investment. Usually stagger squadron commands on turns 2 and 3 amongst the SDs (with the Vic in imminent danger getting the command on turn two so he can get an engineering command on three). They must be played conservatively with only Hp 3 though (and work best I find if you can split up the enemy fighters.
H9s are a godsend on the Vic-1s for those pesky braces (**** the neb-b and its double braces). I honestly think that if the glad-2 had a turbolaser slot, H9s alone would make them worth the 6 point tax).
Edited by corlinjewellH9 and dominator work well in a vic1. His dominator is a vic2. A lot of blue dice so you propably don't need the accuracy from H9.
Why Advanced gunnery on the Gladiator? 2 red + 2 black w/Screed and ACMs = almost no difference. And you're almost always shooting with 2 arcs, aren't you?
Why no Gunnery team on the Vic II? It's a very sound investment.
