Its too hard to work out how to get the game up and running on my laptop. I keep trying different things but cant seem to get move the stuff into OCTG.

I will have to make do with playing in the flesh, maybe they will release it at some point so the dummies like me can just plug in and play !

I am a pretty new Game of Thrones fan and I've just discovered this card game. I already have it installed and I'm looking for people to play it with.

Hi guys,

first time posting here on the forum. Been hanging around a while, but no I have decided to actively participate.

I had some issues with OCTGN lately. Since 2 month I can open it etc but some functions are not working properly (e. g. if I open a game, load a deck and try to I cannot draw cards the box where it is asked for how many cards I want to draw is missing; the "add counter" box does not appear etc; in fact the thing that is missing are all sort of boxes). I re-installed OCTGN not only once, but the issue is still there. Does anybody have a hint what could be wrong?

In addition I just tried to install the Brotherhood uncensored chapetr pack and this message appears: "Brotherhood_uncensored.o8s an error occured during installation. The set Brotherhood without banners is incompatible with the installe game version. Game version: 0.0.2.1 Set made for version:1.0.1" There is no other OCTGN version on their homepage so where do I get this version 1.0.1 from?

Perhaps somebody could help me with my problems.

in may i updated the game version creating the 1.0.1 one. So you have to download from the first post the .o8g game file. Then go in Managed installed games, click on game of thrones in the left --> install new game --> select the new .o8g file and overwrite.

Pre installed sets should remain.

Now I do understand why the OCTGN system did not work properly. Did in fact realize that something was changed in May but thought this would be covered by the normal updates. Well, I was apparently wrong.

Anyway, I have another question. Would it be possible to add another token for strength, in addition to power and gold? For me it seems much more simple to have an info directly on the card how many +strength the character has as compared to checking all the boni/mali on the table each round.

Well. now I have to find somebody to sharpen my decks teeth at...

there is no problem adding tokens but since on cards gold is quite never used i suggest you to use gold tokens to count str.

Anyone playing on this still?

I've been using it to introduce some friends from my hometown gaming group to the game - OCTGN2 is a pretty decent tool! I haven't yet considered playing outside my group of friends with it, though...
