I wanted to start playing AGOT some time ago already, but I cannot find the players to do so. This software looks so eciting I want to play right away, hopefully I can find some online players ;-)
I would even be willing to pay for a service like this and I'm sure as hell going to buy the cards since nothing compares to the real feel of cards!
I think there is a playing list somewhere in the forum. Anyway, where are you from? I'm from italy, if we have similar time sign my skype: supergualdo and we can play some time ;-)

So, where's the place to find people to play with these days? The player list hasn't been updated in months, and the facebook group doesn't seem to be too active either. I guess I'm gonna post my contact info to the player list anyway and hope for the best, and maybe initiate contact with some people myself. Cheers!
I added you to skype. In agotcards we are using the board to find people playing. In the next future we are studying sections to help online game, organize tourney, etc.
Just tried to play with Saturnine from these forums. Unfortunately, we didn't get to play much because Saturnine got disconnected pretty soon in all three games we started. not once did we even get through the first round.
Does this happen a lot? Is there anything to be done?

If it is repeatable you might want to ask on OCTGN's Forums and see if any of the devs might have an idea or submit it as an issue to their tracker. Also this topic on their forums might be what you are running into.

Sincerely i get disconnetted "at average" one time per 100 games. Suggestion that I always made are:
-disable windows firewall (it sucks and block packet at random)
-stop download of torrents or similar
-I personally opened on my router port 8088 to avoid using hamachi.
-If you have a firewall on your computer set it accordingly to not block octgn2.

I may have had an active torrent at the time. Will make sure to stop torrents next time I play and see if that improves things.

If you look at the images: Promo cards up through winter had the same collector number sequence but winter had the winter ed. set symbol on theirs. In the past these cards (other than Winter) were considered one set. But if you are seperating them by WE, IAF, VED that's fine.
Iron Throne Ed. the numbers reset back to 1.
In terms of block legality.... Promos up to 19 I think were VED and IAF Block legality. Post 19 were Winter Block legality. (I think).
Sorry, I simply posted in case you didn't know since you weren't around in the CCG era IIRC, I don't download CCG cards since everyone plays LCG on OCTGN... and I don't want to have to filter the CCG cards when deck building.
