My GM said there is a lightsaber specialization you can get, but I havent been able to find it on the character generator, and there is a way to use agility instead of brawn for lightsaber skills as well. Were is this?

There are six of them (currently). They are all in the Force and Destiny core rulebook. If you want the one that allows you to use Agility for Lightsaber, you want Ataru Striker.

You get these by selecting the "Technique" talent that comes with a number of FaD specializations. For instance, Sentinel/Shien Expert comes with a "Shien Technique" talent on the second row that lets you use Cunning instead of Brawn for your lightsaber.

Since you can have multiple techniques selected, and since you may still want to use Brawn for your lightsaber, you have to select which of these characteristics to use. When you first select a Technique talent, a dialog will pop up that lets you pick the characteristic. This can be changed later if you want to by clicking the "Play" button in the corner of one of these Technique talents, or by clicking the "Skill Char" button at the top right of the Specialization pane. When a different characteristic has been selected for your lightsaber skill, it'll show up as using that characteristic in the character sheet, and in the Skills pane of the generator.

It'll end up costing Minimum 20+10+5+10 = 45 EXP
20 for the second Spes. (or more if it's your 3rd+)
10 for the Spes. being out of career
5 for the first Talent
10 for the actual Talent

That said, if you have a 4 int and a 2 brawn, it's still a worthwhile diversion. However, I wouldn't suggest trying to start the game with it as it's expensive with starting XP.
