So I've been fiddling around and have adapted the Unleash Force power to non-Star Wars settings, using it as a baseline for spells or other powers of an elemental nature. I've changed the Duration upgrade to allow the user form something akin to an elemental grenade, but I'm stuck on how to apply the Magnitude upgrades to the new effect. I have it add the Linked quality a number of times, but I'm don't like it that much. Anybody have some ideas?

One idea comes to mind: chain lightning.

I figured that's what they do normally, essentially giving a form of auto-fire. But the modified attack already has Blast... Unless the magnitude raises Blast. Hmm.
