There are a few cons (few as in not many) such as the base thickness is not there so the ranges are wrong, but that was before we figured out that it was cardboard for hull zones not base.

I played my first vassal yesterday. It's really simple. Drag, drop and right-click for menus. Not much more than that.

Little bit trickier if you are using a mac as you can't use some of the keyboard short cuts requiring "ctrl" but pretty easy all the same.

There is a number of windows though so you need to arrange them in a way that works for you.
