Who else other than me and a few Star Brothers I know from other model forums is going to put a nice darkening down wash on them panels?

See how nice they look with a blue-black tone on 'em?!?

I get mine in a week... love the look of the new ships but in the pictures the white panels do look overly bright. So in hand they may look better but I will prolly still wash them so the panel detail pops better.

Kinda gotten use to the black and white color scheme already. Now I dig it!

For a second, I thought you were complaining about getting smudgy fingerprints on the wings because they were too white. That's what the picture looked like to me, at first.

I picked up my core on Thursday, but I had to justify the purchase as a Christmas present, so while I will take out my new damage deck early, I won't see the new TIEs in action for a few more months, so I can't really comment on their whiteness at the moment.
