YT-1300 100 pt List Suggestions

By WingedSpider, in X-Wing Squad Lists

As a new player, I just picked up the YT-1300/Millennium Falcon and was just wondering about potential builds for my casual X-Wing nights.

One of the ideas I had was

Pilot: Lando Calrissian (46 pt)

Title: Millennium Falcon (1 pt)

Modification: Engine Upgrade (4 pt)

Elite: Push the Limit (3 pt)

Crew 1: Nien Nunb (1 pt)

Crew 2: Chewbacca (4 pt)

Total: 59 pt

Pilot: Keyan Farlander (29 pt)

Modification: Engine Upgrade (4 pt)

Elite: Push the Limit (3 pt)

Torpedo: Proton Torpedo (4 pt)

Total: 40

Total pts: 99/100

This list focuses on abusing Lando's ability to give extra actions on green maneuvers with Nien Nunb and Push the Limit to get a ton of actions, and Engine Upgrade on both ships gives them a great use for the actions. Keyan Farlander seemed like a good partner with his equal skill (Letting Lando go second) and ability that takes advantage of stress.

But I was thinking this list might not have enough firepower or hitpoints with only two ships... So maybe I should do something completely different, or I should focus less on giving more actions and more on upgrades that add firepower. Maybe I should just take a completely different angle with the YT-1300. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For reference, here is my collection so far; I'd prefer not having to buy anything new for this list.

  • Original Core Set
  • X-Wing
  • A-Wing
  • Rebel Aces
  • TIE Advanced
  • Millennium Falcon
  • An extra copy of Push the Limit

Interesting build. A correction though: Lando is 44 points, so your Lando build should be 57 points, not 59. I really like Keyan, but here is another list that might give you more options...

Lando (Push the Limit, Nien Nunb, Chewbacca, Millenium Falcon) - 53 pts

Dagger - 24 pts

Green (Push the Limit, Chardaan Refit, Test Pilot, Marksmanship) - 23 pts

100 points

You should have all the cards with the expansions you have. Optimally, I would put either Fire-Control System or Advanced Sensors on the B-Wing, and remove Marksmanship on the A-Wing.

Remember, you can use Push the Limit on the A-Wing off of the free action from Lando. The A-Wing is the small ship that can best keep up with the Falcon anyway, and it has lots of available actions. Also, even on its own and "naked", the B-Wing can be a real threat.

Thanks for the correction, and that list does look like an improvement; three ships feels a lot safer than two. I'll give it a shot!
