Wave 2 on the boat

I can't believe Australia misses out on Sullust

So sorry dude. And you being so much closer to China, what's up with that? They could have had a guy in a Junk hand deliver the ships to you.

So anyway, ignoring your stereotype of Chinese people as floating around in junks when they actually made both the computer you type your stereotyping on as well as their own space station....

I live in China and my toy spaceships go Southern China --> USA --> Britain --> Western China. You may think that It's easy to get things made in China in China, but because of tax breaks for export-only companies, unless you either know someone who works in the factory or can find them on the black market you are pretty much SOL and have to order them in by airmail and pay import tax.

Therefore, it is very possible that things going to Australia actually go via the USA and it's too expensive/inconvenient/niche market to ship them back across the Pacific without someone else paying.

Peace and hugs

Now is the best time to spam nav tokens!!!

What is the command value of a cargo ship anyway?

"Commodore, make the necessary preparations to receive the ships."

I'd predict between Nov 6th and 20th. I'm glad I scored a side job that paid for Wave 2 already... Well wave 2 and the Star Wars LCG...

~160 dollars about to go down the drain in 6 weeks

WOOT!

Never tell them the discount!

Many people get everything from the local FLGS.... so they will still have a FLGS. Can't blame them. The store I spend my time and cash in, has made no secret that a certain card game pays the bills, everything else is gravy, and a chance for him to play the games he enjoys. So far I only bought wave 2 online, mostly because I just bought a house, and had to wait and see on the money.

An online discout is great, a FLGS to host games is golden.

I've been proxying games with an ISDII with Devastator title, SW-7 ion cannons, XX-9 turbolasers and Vader.

It's one of the most violent feeling units to command I've ever come across in a war-game, up there even with a wraithknight in a 1,000 point game of 40k. Even as a square of paper with lines on it, the whole battle revolves around the fear of it just crushing everything. I can't wait for the model.

Do you find the Devastator title gets much use? And are you going out trying to kill off some defence tokens to get it's full advantage or just using it as insurance against situations where you might have to discard some?

I find that I didn't need to try to discard defence tokens. The ship is huge, it can't be missed and is the complete centrepiece of the battle. It is going to be shot at constantly anyway, so you may as well get extra dice form the defence tokens you will be burning just to stay alive.

Having such a monster at speed 3 after usually seeing VSDs crawling forward at speed 2 was a hell of a shock. I think I will be running ISD 1 for the black dice in future, they will see good use.

I used howlrunner and 3 squadrons of TIEs as a dedicated fighter screen. They were essential... don't leave home without your TIEs. As my opponent knew that I was taking an ISD she went bomber heavy, and they spent both games chewing through B wings and saving Vader's butt.
