Should the larger expansion packs in Wave 3 contain Squadrons?

I'm not sure how FFG plans to do squadrons from here on out. I doubt they can continue to come up with 4 unique squads per faction per wave for very long.

I don't really like your suggestion of putting a squad in with medium and large ships for the cost reason all ready mentioned. I wouldn't mind if they put repeat squadrons in ship packs as another way to acquire the model and a new pilot, similar to the X-wing transport and raider expansion packs.

That was how I envisaged it working as soon as I read the post. You'd be able to get the squadrons (one generic and one unique) in the squadron pack, but there'd be a different unique one (and another generic) in the ship pack. Would make it more exciting, but you'd only ever "need" one.

But is the Ship its bundled with something you may want Multiple of, and therefore, you end up paying for something you don't need more than one of? Because the Plastic is more expensive thatn the Cards...

Surely not the first to state that a game like Armada cant do without dedicated carriers and stuff like Tie Defenders or E-Wings. Even if fighters are not the focus, as some say, a fleet battle in Star Wars always contains them to an extent. Chose them or not for the fleet, but they have to be there as option. Dont know about being competitive, but whenever I think about a list without them, it feels wrong.

Or docking up to replenish health for a turn. For example, if a squadron is touching the base of a fleet carrier it replenishes 1 health per turn. Titled fleet carriers could replenish 2 health per turn by exhausting defence tokens.

Either way, dedicated carriers are needed to buff squadrons.

I hope we see more missions in with some ships in the near future. More is never a bad thing.

My hope with my suggestion, was that some from FGG, could see this as a partly good idea, without the need to go totally overboard.

I.e. I have 8 X-wing SQD. so I dont need, so far, any more of them, but I would like to get a couple of more A-wing, B-wings or Y-wings SQD. with out the need to buy a third Rebel SQD. pack.

If FGG makes another Rebel/New Republic SQD. pack, with I.e. Z95, E-wing, K-wing and a fourth fighter I can't think of. and they had the choice of a fifth fighter, they could sneak atleast one of the latter into a ship pack, as a little bonus.

FGG, could also as a X-mas promo, put one randomly selected Rebel SQD. in each Rebel Ship pack as a bonus (Likewise for Empire) in the boxes they sell at X-mas.

After all how much more expensive is it to put one SQD. in a ship pack?

I'd love a Pelta class, one stand of A-wings, and the Phoenix Home title.

But then there'd have to be a special rule for Vader in a TIE advanced to wreck it in one round.
