Really?

Really?

Pretty sure its an illicit upgrade for scum only...
1. It's an Illicit upgrade, that has a chance of blowing up every turn you're cloaked

2. Advanced Cloaking Device is still TIE Phantom only
Which is to say the utility of it is going to be fairly limited for most ships.
Edited by OtaconDoes the electronic baffle not look like it removes an ion token for a damage? But that's not very good. No matter what the cost or slot of the upgrade... hum..
I can agree about baffle .. probably after getting an ion token, remove it and take one damage ..

0 point system would be pretty good for B's.
And it's unique, so not everyone will cloak.

If that is what it is, depending on the situation getting to still choose my own dial, and possibly clear a stress, may be worth it.
Old news? Also, seems fine to me.

Removes a STRESS TOKEN OR ION TOKEN for a damage. At least, that's my guess. As posted in a couple other places already...
Comes with Mist Hunter and proves Captain Needa very wrong....especially since he was talking about a large base ship ![]()

Hey scum won't you look my way
I can be your new addiction
Hey scum what you gotta say?
All you're giving me is fiction
I'm an evil empire and this happens all the time
I found out that everybody cloaks
Everybody cloaks, everybody cloaks
It started with a Whisper
And that was when I played her
And then she made my game hurt
I could hear the nerf cries
Take me to your new FAQ
We're gonna get your meta back
When everybody cloaks back
That is, I admit, the one bit that's a little odd.
The lore says that small ships can't cloak. The minatures game to date allows only the smallest to do so...

Could also be you give the ion token to a nearby enemy ship
Some one else stated it.
When you receive a stress token or Ion token. You may take 1 damage to ignore it.
Probably a system upgrade!
It could say "Remove one tractor beam token or ion"

And the fight
The fight is going wrong
When you're sure you can't dodge arcs
Two more green
Quite strong
Don't trust your dice roll
Because everybody dies
And everybody cloaks
Sometimes
Sometimes Xizor has to tank
No Binyare hit point bank
Every die you rolled was blank
(Hold on)
****ing Soontir's on your flank
(Hold on)
If you're down to just two hull
Need a break
Hang on
Cause everybody cloaks
Small ship with illicit slot
Everybody cloaks

Well, the's also the whole "precise stormtroopers", "last of the Jedi will you be"*, bantha fodder -> bantha crap, etc... Lucas has already said screw the lore within both the prequels and the original films themselves, so there is precedent.
*Specifically in reference to how non-special and non-rare Jedi became later on in the span of the franchise.
I'm more excited about Hera's ability.

No fighters can ships under corvette size can't as they can't generate enough power and ships over corvette size are too large to hide with cloaking fields.
And because you can't win major battles just with corvette sized ships they never caught on as a practical option.
The old Sith fighters could cloak but in making them they used up the galaxies supply of the needed stygian crystals, so for thousands of years no cloaking ships were made.
When the empire decided to produce the phantom they took the prototype superlaser and fractured a planet to get the last supply of crystals enough to make a few thousand fighters.
There is a method that uses gas but it's not as efficient which is what the scum version represents.
And it's unique, so not everyone will cloak.
It's also an excuse to do another 'half cloaked' paint job. :3

Wouldn't you need to start with a clear model to do that?
Although, I supposed you could just cut away half the model....

I'm just imagining the Ghost with a cloaking device. Or the Raider.
