Would this be any good? Or just annoying?
Never going to be able to play it without proxies from SW Minis though...

It might be fun to play especially to burn through someone's Command deck, "Is it good" is harder to answer. Are you playing competitively or for fun, also what scenarios? These are just some thoughts that occur to me thinking about this list.
*A longer game would benefit this list as you will do more damage the more rounds you play. Most competitive skirmish games I have played are usually decided by round 3-4. Many of my relaxed games go to 5-7 rounds. While you could technically get through their command deck in round 2, it probably wouldn't happen until mid-late round 3.
*This list doesn't have any speed 5 movement, or a way to reliably boost movement(officers/Gideon). Which can matter on some skirmish maps such as the RGC map that requires terminal control. You would have to think about the strategy you want to play a little more in depth up front.
*5 activations remember to use the pass rule.
*9 combat centric figures on the board is pretty good, and their health means they will probably take 2-3 shots to kill(excluding 3 dice attacks).
*So many Brawler/Hunter cards that are useful to everyone!
*Trandoshans want to be up close where they are devastating, but if you play too aggressively with them they will be picked off on the way in.
*IG-88 has potential to be devastating, but is actually kind of fragile, keep him on the edge of combat and not in the middle. It will also draw attention and become a target for your opponent.
As command cards become better and better, I think relentless is going to just become 1 auto damage. I think it is a pretty good.
I don't think Iggy is worth his points but if you wanna try :
Iggy
Elite Trandosh
2x reg trandosh
Temp alliance
Gideon
Or you could replace the elites for a 3rd regular and R2-D2 or C-3P0 and Devious Schemes
You would loose 1 instance of relentless but you would have focus / card draw.
+1 for Gideon!
I would replace a reg. Trando for Gideon, 3-PO and Devious Shemes.
Choosing the "better" deployment area is important for a "slow" squad and having initiative second round is also quiet nice. The double focus is really tough and helps IG-88 to recover while dealing damage.

I think a slight change would improve it:
--Drop one Trandoshan, add Temporary Alliance, Gideon, and C3P0. 1pt remaining
--Drop Iggy, add Boba with the 1pt you saved from the Trandoshan
You're still doing a pile of Relentless damage (6 per round is plenty), but now you've got 2 Focuses per round, along with a power piece that doesn't die (as opposed to Iggy, who dies far too quickly). I haven't played it yet, but I'm excited to. It looks like fun: very aggressive, several tricks to use, and easy to use the Command Card deck (centered on Hunter cards).
I LOVE the Trandos, for relentless and their damage bonus when adjacent. Relentless often surprises players who aren't used to playing against lists that deal a lot it. I play mostly Mercs and Empire, and every single list I play in those factions has 2 Trando cards, standard or elite depending on the rest of the list.
Both options from strain are good, IMO. Command Cards win games, do forcing discards is always a plus. And free damage is also always good. I'm not 100% on building a list strategy completely around Relentless, but I ALWAYS use it in my lists.
