Unidentified Lander in IMPS Chapter 2 - Please Help I.D.

First off, if you haven't seen IMPS or Troops it is worth a laugh.

Does anyone know what the landing vehicle at 11:00 minutes into the fan film I.M.P.S. The Relentless: Chapter 2 - Norca System is? It seems to have the same capacity as the Titan Dropship, but I don't know if the design is fanon or where it came from.

Thanks for the help!

Pretty sure it's fanon.

It looks a lot like the Sentinel however it is orders of magnitude larger. Besides, the empire already has a canon method of transporting AT-ATs in the form of your aforementioned Titan.

I think the videographers either didn't think the Titan was sexy enough, or just wanted a custom dropship for their custom super-star destroyer.

Thank you.

Yeah, I think you are right about it being a fan design. I do think their dropship looks quite a bit better than the Titan dropship.

I think it's called a Sentinel-class landing craft. I checked there fan wiki.

I was right it is the Sentinal-class. And even if it's fan made, it may have been accepted as real. If I figure out how to attach photos, I found in Barnes & Nobles a book. The Star Wars Imperial Handbook. They show it in there. Obviously that doesn't automatically grant Canonhood, but close.

If I was making a fan film that included landing ships for AT-ATs I would have used a variant of the Acclaimator ships. I never understood why the EU authors wanted to have AT-ATs being deployed by regular ISDs, they are just too big for the hangers. The Lambda is almost too tall, and a barge that drops one or even two AT-ATs is just gonna be too big. ISDs should have carried a smaller transport walker for one/two squad level deployment. The walkers we see on Hoth all seem to have been launched from the Executor which may have had extra huge docking facilities for rather large/capital scale drop ships able to carry a dozen or more walkers at once.

Actually I would have loved to have seem special super-walker designs that make atmospheric entry and land on their own or with detachable engines and can use their own weapons to clear landing zones prior to touchdown. Or better yet Super Troopers that drop from orbit in heavy armor jump suits like in the starship troopers novel.

After even more research it is the sentinel, but they misrepresented the size in IMPS. It is much smaller then shown in the movie. But I guess that's artistic license. And the movie is non-canon.
