We just had another great event at MrField the X-Wing hot spot in Tokyo area.
The theme of the day was Mission 12 from the IG-2000 expansion 3 player shenanigans!
First Mach of the day with me (Empire) Ben (Rebels) and Keisuke (Scum).
All 3 players made the opponents wing leader their primary targets. The first to go down was Keisuke-san Hounds Tooth.
With two wing leaders left and after fierce dog-fighting, Rebels won this mission.
The next match up was between Nagu-san (Rebels) P/Z-san (Scum) and Kurata-san (Empire).
A major collision in the turn before the final led both the Rebel and Scum Player to concentrate their fire on Decimator, whit the Empire returning fire only to the Robots. In the last turn the crippled Decimator shot down the wounded robot wing man but fell himself victim to Dash. The Rebels had won this mission too!
The final match was between Ben (Empire) Nagu-san (Rebels) and your truly (Scum).
The Empire Tie fighters boldly approached the Rebel ships, and claim the Rebel wing leader as their first victim.
The Robots, that were previously wounded by the Rebels, in the end also fell victim to the Empire.
Next months plans are for a Wave 7 + New Starter tournament!
