In Race into battle article we can see that MC30 uses evade token twice in one attack.

In the rulebook though we can read:

" The defender cannot spend any single defense token more than once per attack, and he cannot spend more than one defense token of each type per attack "

Is this a mistake?

I think the confusion is they chose to show two evade tokens as evade results. Which MC30 achieves by using Foresight and spending one evade.

Never mind! I now see that the destroyer rolled HIT, HIT, DOUBLE HIT, DOUBLE HIT. So the picture seems to suggest that using both evades plus Foresight prevents all the damage which is wrong. Because as stated above only one evade token can be used.

Why? If they can hint at something people will want it more. FFG is competent. If the image does not change then there is a good chance that there is something down the line for rebels. Maybe an upgrade for all but I expect a Commander.

A mistake in the article is how we know it's an authentic FFG article. Accept nothing less!

Why? If they can hint at something people will want it more. FFG is competent. If the image does not change then there is a good chance that there is something down the line for rebels. Maybe an upgrade for all but I expect a Commander.

FFG has not proven thier competency in regards to the accuracy of the examples given in their various articles. Across any number of different games there is a consistent trend of providing incorrect information in their articles.

Well remember that there is a Title for the MC80 that was never shown. I have a feeling that the title for that will be shown in the Rogue and Villans Preview. There could be something like this occurring as well.

You can only use 1 defense token of the same type per attack.

So if your cr90 with 2 evade tokens is attacked, you can only use a single evade defense token for that attack. If the cr90 is attacked again by the same ship from another arc let's say, then you could use the evade defense token as this is a separate attack.
