Necropolis (Terrain)

By chemical22, in Talisman

Hey Guys,

I'm confused...

Last weekend I was playing Talisman and we had a card come up that said to place the Necropolis Terrain on the Graveyard.

I didn't have one. As you know from my earlier post - my dog had a meal of some of my cards, and so I was a bit worried.

When I went onto the Wiki to look up this card, I noticed the listing - which is just a dead link.

Anyone have some insight into this?

What was the card that came up?

I've got 10 terrain cards in my Harbinger expansion and the Necropolis one of them, so your dog might of eaten 3 of your cards or more!

I was going to contact FFG and tell that my dog ate my Instructor and Doppelganger cards but I don't think they would of believed me.

I wish I could remember it. I'll have to research it. I suspect it is either in the Harbinger or Firelands expansion... Harbinger being my first guess.

There is a Necropolis card in the Harbinger expansion. Off hand I don't recall that it says to put it on the Graveyard space.

It's the Event "Rise of the Dead" from the Harbinger deck that has you place the Necropolis Terrain Card on the Graveyard.

This makes me sad. Thanks guys :(

I'm sure FFG will help again if you explain.

I will... think I need to do a complete inventory before I do.

Can we get some kind of "Voracious Dog" card in the ________ realms expansion? To think of it, Talisman has everything except for a dog cards.

Phantom hound and Faithful hound are the only two I can think of.

"Voracious Hound." Follower.

The Voracious Hound chews up one of your items at random, then becomes a follower. At any time you may feed it one of your items for +3 Strength.

   another use for water bottles.

Voracious Hound is going in my Nether Deck.

Follower. Encounter 5. You must take the voracious hound as a follower. The hound adds 2 to any combat. At the beginning of each turn the hound will eat one of your objects; Burn one of your objects. If you have no objects the hound will leave you and remain in the space where it abandons you.

I can see heading to the city if I can get lucky enough to drop the hound off there. :-)

That's perfect! If you really want it true to life... then add in, on a roll of a 1 for movement, miss your turn giving it a belly rub.

No, 1: Lose a life, tending to bite, then 2: Lose a turn rubbing the belly.
