Searching for new ideas I found a card that I suppose some player posted here, because it is not a FFG ship. It depicted a Tie Bomber stripped of Offensive equipment. No torps or missiles. A Sistem.option, and 2 crew options. A converted bomber, and FANTASTIC art.. Color print, and start thinking.

In a veeery casual play I equipped it with custom ECM pod, a Fleet Officer and a Flight Instructor. Two defensive cards to keep the ship flying and the Fleet Officer giving Focus to Near Bombers.

I want to thank the author, if he reads this. No idea about if it is n optimal ship or not, but she is in the Sleeve among the Bombers.

Sounds like you want a support bomber, like one that benefits allies.

An ECM support Bomber is at the top of my wish list if Bombers ever make it into an aces pack. The Imperial equivalent of the B-wing E2.

I like where you are coming from, but not sure this is going far enough. I'd actually give it either 2 crew, and/or remove all torpedoes and ordnance (and possibly missiles) for a negative crew cost.

Tie Bombert is my favorite Tolkien character.

Please don't put Nazgul in space ships.

The screaming fight between them and the Shadows would be horrific.
