Missions like the movies

By yoink101, in Star Wars: Armada

In the movies, the rebellion was always outnumbered and outgunned by the Empire. While I love Armada, and competitive play is often fun, I'm jonzing for some games like the movies. At the battle of Endor, there were around 30 ships including capital ships, frigates, corvettes, and cruisers (depending on what source you look at, this number can vary from around 15 to as many as 40) and represents the combined might of every combat capable capital ship in the rebel alliance. Meanwhile, the Empire brought one fleet with upwards of 33 Imperial I & II Class Star Destroyers (again, it varies depending on the source) along with the Executor, and a handful of support ships including Victory Star Destroyers, Carrack Cruisers, Escort Frigates, and others. While this is certainly a sizable fleet for the Empire, it is a marginal fraction of the 25,000 to 30,000 Star Destroyers that the Empire may have had (again, Star Wars cannon fans and unreliable sources).

My point is this. Are there any missions anyone has written up where the Rebels are facing superior numbers but have the advantage of positioning and targeting a specific ship or with a specific goal in mind?

Maybe the Rebels are trying to destroy a convoy before they get intercepted by a Imperial fleet.

Maybe the Rebels are trying to rescue a disabled ship. They need to get repair crews aboard to fix the hyperdrive before the Empire moves into range and obliterates them.

Maybe the Rebels are trying to break a blockade and get across the table before being destroyed by the Empire.

Other ideas?

How about a mission to blow up the Death Star? All we need is the playmat and the rules for it.
