Fellowship two-player cooperative thematic decks.

Boromir - Aragorn - Merry Gandalf - Sam - Pippin

"Middle-Earth stands upon the brink of destruction. None can escape it. You will unite or you will fall."

Thematic Fellowship decks.

Pump Boromir (Steward of Gondor belongs on him, how it supposed to be, Blood of Numenor and Gondorian Fire (and other attachements) will change him into a warrior unrivalled in Middle-earth).

Engage everybody with help of Aragorn. The other deck can engage, use Pipins ability, defend with gandalf, then Aragon moves that enemy to the other deck and the enemy is killed.

Use Boromir many times and keep threat low eith Merry.

Keep him ready and see the shadow cards with lamp.

You can actually stay low with your threat, use staff to cancel shadow effects and engage second enemy after attack step is resolved with Aragorn.

Ents are just....mad and destructible.

LO/LE decks quests with help of Faramir and fellowship cards.

Obvious Gandalf toys (Treasure-hunter, staff, his horse)

Steward and Heir of Mardil (triggerd by steward nad staff) belongs on Boromir.

My choice in Moria was to acrifice Gandalf, move Aragorn to the other deck and make him Leadership and use Legolas for that free slot.

And then bring big G back "Beyond all hope".

feel free to comment and suggest changes....it is most welcome

I don't like having Merry without his other Hobbits but he is a good combo with Aragorn... I just feel like the Sam/Pippin/Merry deck is so good, I'm always putting them together and making the other deck have the other Fellowship characters.
I've actually put Gandalf in an all tactics/eagle kind of deck just to get "mono" tactics to work solo, worked pretty well.

One of the problems I see here is that there are no Spirit heroes. Spirit, to me, is the most essential sphere.
When I started my two player campaign I chose Sam/Merry/Pippin and Glorfindel/Fatty/Aragorn, but that was before The Road Darkens came out

There is the spirit version of Merry in those decks. Perfect fit for Boromir to reduce his threat. So spirit included. ;)

Would you be willing to post the modified deck with Gandalf gone as well?

Now I am going though the Saga again.

I will post versions of the decks during the Saga.
