TIE Swarm 2.FO

By Nyxen, in X-Wing

Hey everyone, let me preface this by saying I have never played the TIE Swarm until today. That being said, the FO was instrumental to victory.

I ran-

Howlrunner

-Determination

Omega Squadron Pilot

-Draw Their Fire

Omega Squadron Pilot

Black Squadron Pilot X2

Night Beast

-Twin Ion Engine Mk II

99 Points overall.

How has everyone else been acclimating FO's into their normal swarms? I've seen PTL swarms with Epsilon Leader as well as Howlrunner, going down to 5 TIEs; but I've been wondering how the rest of the community sees them.

That is evil and I love it. How does it handle arc dodgers like Soonts or Jake?

Block and outguess them, the old school way of doing that.

Nice to see Night Beast get some play. I hadn't even considered how good the MkII engine was for him, but now you've got me thinking... :)

Use wave 1/2 tactics. Block & clock. :)

I really like the FO, and am not discounting it from any fight...

If only he had green turns. There are so many amazing TIE Fighter pilots, sometimes I really wish I could put them in different ships. Night Beast in an Interceptor, Dark Curse flying a Defender, Mauler Mithel in a Phantom...

Adapt the X-wing co-op campaign armouredgear07 made? One of the coolest things in that campaign is that you can do that for Rebel(as it's rebel orientated - which makes the most sense for narrative play).
