What would a SCUM B-WING be, in EU or otherwise?
I have my ideas on how to build the models but I was wondering what some of my peeps here might have to say about it.
S&V still lacks a hard-hitting Small Ship in my view...
SCUM B-WING Equivalent?
Currently it looks like the Misthunter will fill that role in Wave 8. It's a ship that has a comparable statline and from the looks of it, probably will have terrible manoeuvrability like the B-Wing
It even looks like it will be costed similarly

Not sure I'd say they lack a 'hard hitting small ship', as the Kihazhrazrahrzax and the Starviper both pack the same punch as a stock B-Wing, and the Scyk can mount as heavy a secondary gun and come in far cheaper...
What they ARE missing, though, is a 'tanky', hard-hitting, small-base ship. IE., 3-attack, low agility, small base, massive total health. (Of course, the Empire doesn't have that, *either*, so...)

I want a B-Wing that is not a B-Wing but looks like an evil crazy B-Wing... yeah.
You guys know what I mean, I think... also it should fly and fight less like a Rebel and more like a crazy Mando'ish SCUMMY Monster.

Always wondered why FFG took the way Scum has been released the way they did. Obviously from a sales perspective they wanted new ships for customers to buy and collect but the very nature of the Scum faction is to steal and repurpuse equipment. We saw the Firespray, the Y wing and the Z 95 repurposed this way but why did they stop with that? I mean what pirate group would not want to utilize a Decimator or a B wing. Hijacking and outright theft is their modus operandi after all.

Yup and further more the first (and only) time a Hotshot Blaster was seen in the films was on Hoth when Han Solo was trying to avoid being blasted by Snow Troopers and he says "This Baby has a few surprises left in her Sweetheart!"

Needless to say here at Boss Central The Falcon gets a Hot Shot Blaster... as a free upgrade.

In-universe, Firesprays, Y-wings, HWK's, and Z-95's are older not-quite-up-to-date ships that are easy to acquire, not to mention easy to maintain. The likes of the Decimator, B-Wing, etc. are the most cutting-edge ships, developed specifically for the Empire/Rebellion (Just like you don't see the Empire "requisitioning" StarVipers)- they're shiny toys, but if your pilfered B-Wing's gyro-mount breaks (as it's wont to do) or their advanced sensors go out, good luck finding a replacement.

I don't. I'm already tired of Scum getting Rebel repaints in a universe with hundreds of different ship types.

I agree that is why I want to build a crazy type that is kind of like a B-Wing. I am not going to use B-Wing models to do this.
I sure hope we get the Hutt & Mando ships that are still out there too, of course. I agree with you FFG should make more of these classic EU monsters. They are just crazy cool IMO!

The stats and the red 3-bank does kinda point it towards the Scum's equivalent of the B-wing but its swaps the native BR for Evade action so it'll be at least somewhat different; easier to catch but tougher to go down. Also its upgrade bar looks different but I can't tell if that's a system slot or a cannon slot.
The other thing I'd like to mention is that this is another one those ugly EU ships that turned out really cool looking in miniature form. Looks like a Russian Hind crossed with a Republic Gunship. Props to FFG!

It's a systems slot. You can only get a cannon through the Mist Hunter title and then the only cannon you can take is the tractor beam.
The model does look cool. With Zuckuss being one of my favorite bounty hunters, I've tried and tried to love the G1-A but it was always sort of meh. Especially compared to the Hound's Tooth. But this model is gorgeous and I can't wait to field the Mist Hunter!

Yeah it is great. I can remember about a year or so ago looking at Mist Hunter and Hound's Tooth, even IG-88 models from the Titanium Micro Machines line, on EBay. Man am I happy that I waited to get the real ships.
I kept thinking that FFG would make all of the Bounty Hunters... and sure enough!
Great times are ahead for thematic games. Imagine a Bounty Hunter meeting at some remote SCUM Hutt base in an asteroid field... then something bad happens during the deal...
