Some help with my deck please, it is fun how it is, but just seems to slow for most of the new quests. Did OK with a leadership gondor, aragon + sword, boromoir, prince imrail lots of allies deck (thanks to the Beorn website for fleshing out my ides on this). But if the matching deck is not fast this just sinks with the fast acting quests we have now.
Note that my wife and I almost exclusively play 2 player.
The White Council Deck
The goal is to have the whole white council in play (which I have done - great fun), preferably with their gear.
Gandalf Hero makes a starting threat of 36, which is probably a bit to high, beside this is the other team for escorting Frodo to destroy the ring.
Hero's
Elrond
Galadriel
Frod

3 x Sauman
3 x Gandalf (OHUH)

3 x Elf stone (expensive Istari allies)
3 x Wizard pipe (can go on radagast as well)
3 x Ancient Mathom
2 x lembas
2 x expert treasure hunter (for Frodo, but had one on Elrond as well at one stage, he he)
1 x silver lamp

1 x The Galadhrims Greeting
Galadriel hero really powers up Saurman, he doesn't have to tap to quest, so he is still available to block/attack.
Block with Saruman, and then flame of Arnor for a big attack.
Other possible hero's are Grima instead of Frodo, to lower the cost of things, but doomed 1 gets unsociable in multi-player.
The White Council Deck
Saruman will skyrocket your threat and that of your teammates. I don't know really whether he is wise choice or not.
Your deck is slow, because you include many (way to many in my opinion) cards which benefit only if "this and that other card" is allready in play. If you cut down those combinations/dependencies your deck should getting faster.
Maybe less attachments for more allies (like 2x vs 2x instead of 3x vs 1x). I haven,t tried this hero combo yet (for pure solo), seems like it could be super strong. The thing with Vylia and Elrond is that it gives you free allies mostly, and this deck has so few of them.
I would like to build an Ent deck with this hero combo, should be quite a strong deck, with lots of questing, attack, defending and healing... well, a perfectly balanced deck for those nightmare quests!
