What EU ship do you hope to see in Episode VII?

Personally, the phantom would be pretty sweet.

That, or a K-wing or E-wing.

If your story doesn't have jelly racing, as far as I'm concerned it's not Star Wars.

An E-wing escorting a YT-2400 freighter ... just before both are blown to oblivion by a Star Destroyer.

On the one hand, I want to see the Defender.

On the other hand, I don't want to see a Defender in crappy FO colors...

"Raider" is a brilliant answer.

TIE/D not so much, unless it's the Derpfender.

The Outrider or Moldy Crow in a background cameo shot would be really cool.

The ship from E.T. Given that their species is now SW canon, the ship should be at least EU along the lines of the Ewoks movies.

Considering the time frame, I am not really expecting any.

But I would love to see the TIE Phantom or Defender make an appearance in Rebels. And the Moldy Crow as well.

Quite possible. Which is why my real hope currently is Rebels.

Say what you want about that show, but the people that write it know their Star Wars lore. Even if they don't always use it.

So, here's hoping we get some more story arcs dealing with Rebels sabotaging advanced TIE production.

Okay I get it, JJ Abrams has no responsibility over the outcome of the upcoming movie what so ever. He's only the director, with some writing credits. But yeah he can't do anything with the movie and has no say in it at all.

You will probably find that he had plenty of input as to what ships we will see.

Just like he did for JJ Trek, he could have had the real Enterprise 1701 bit no he wanted to "hot-rod" it up. His words.

Id put money on that he wanted X-wing vs TIEfighters so that's what we will get is rahashed OT ships rather than some new designs backed up by OT craft

JJ has claimed to be a star wars fan so I really hope he will have some respect for the expanded universe.

I'll be fairly happy if he just has Luke mention how much he hated the E-wing.
