I prefer the Predator, Rec. Spec, and Jan Ors 50 point chewie build to what you have going on - It's more efficient with higher damage output and doesn't stress you, but it lacks the APL. APLs have never done much for me so that's just a judgment call.
if you really want to troll your opponent with YT1300 / Ywing list.... try out this mate.
It's Han with C3PO, Luke, VI, Title and Engine Upgrade
His companion - general Horton Salm - with TLT (just look how sweet it works with his ability), Engine Upgrade, and PS10 (R2-D6 + VI) to make sure you are going to move last and shoot first. Just imagine how good it is against for example Phantom.
I love this list.
With Cheewie, I think this can work nice!
If you want ION turret on the Ys, then why not?

I would try everyone else's suggestions to make sure you don't like those better.
I like this list, However, but I would definitely remove APL. Since you don't have Barrel Roll as an action, it'll be pretty hard to get it to go off against an experienced pilot.
Maybe replace it with Jan Ors, since you have PTL, or Tactician. Saboteur may also be a good choice if your opponent will have the new damage deck.
