I'm hoping that they make a different one eventually. But, I am disapointed that there will only be one DSII mat out there for quite some time.

Indeed. The minute they announced the original mats, I was dearly hoping for an Endor Death Star theme.

I sure hope they eventually sell one to the restivus!

It doesn't even have to be the same art (nor should it). Still really want a DSII mat, though.

Seems quite likely, considering the top 8 mat is the same as the starfield, just with a fancy logo on it.

I want a 6'x3' DSII mat, because I feel that Epic format fits the theme more.

If they do that it could have the armada imprint instead of the x wing one. 6x3 is there recommended size for that game.

Would be even more appropriate branded as an "Armada mat".

The Armada prizes have yet to be announced. I predict that soon FFG will announce a 6'x3' mat for Armada and Epic, and then they will update the prize page to show those as the top 8 Armada prize.

Hopefully I'll at least get to see it after pheaver wins it.

I'm hoping the new movie will lead to some kind of gorund-based mat - not really the death star surface - though that's a fun idea too.
