Why FFG? Why won't you give us more information? We NEED to know.
Edited by Sanguinary DanDoes the Imperial Assault Carrier have a turret like its model does?
Considering thst there appears to be quite a few new upgrades in the set, I'd say it's pretty likely we get a turreted hardpoint or even a missile firing one. I know it has a turret on rebels, does it have missiles? In the most recent preview for Armada, the Raider is shown firing missiles.
But no, you are wrong: Hence the Tie Aggressor
That obscenity against Imperial Navy doctrine is non-canon for a reason
Why should the Tie Aggressor be less canonic then the Decimator?
Wait ... isnt that a TLT on the model? Maybe a turret slot as modification?
A hardpoint missile launcher would be pretty cool.
I'm really hoping there's aa 360 section turret for one thing, and a huge ship only mod that gives a hard point to one section of your ship some how so GR-75s can buy a hard point for some extra cost. Just to give it another build out set of options.
As mentioned before no primary weapon so there will be no PWT.
Now the production shot does show a hardpoint which is where the firing arc comes into play. You can't have a secondary weapon without a firing arc (which is why I modified the GR-75 base when I made my S&V GR-75 conversion kit.). SO for the firing arcs it would be for the hardpoint which for now can't shoot out of arc.
Now could there be a hardpoint upgrade that can make attacks out of arc? I don't know it is hard to tell right now.
The lower right upgrade card is interesting. It seems that it is a Modification card for the Gozanti and it has a own energy pool of 2? or is it +2 energy? Seems like this is kind of a 'Combat Retrofit'. Its hard to tell what the card text says. Could be the upgrade that allows the gun equipped at the hard point to fire outside of the arc?

Alright. They are all dotted. This makes sense. Seems linke we have to wait for more news

yeah that was my question too. Well there might be a hardpoint that allows for taking a missile upgrade or more but then there would be missile upgrades with the pack if that were the case and I don't see anything that looks like any of the missiles that had been released. But come to think of it I don't even see anything that looks like the three hardpoints that we have now so can only come to one of 2 conclusions.
- New Hardpoint secondary weapons for huge ships.
- No Hardpoints at all as this is a support ship (much like the transport) and if you want to outfit it with weapons you will need to get them for another epic expansion pack like the Imperial Raider.
I see chiranu the crew using it's armada art.
While it is art for armada, there is a picture of a raider firing missiles/ordnance of some type. I would love to see missile batteries as an hardpoint choice. Make it cheap, and have to purchase a type of ordnance, ion pulse missiles, homing missiles, etc. fire them as per normal, spend energy to "reload" the ordnance.
This would work with the firing arc, and while not optimal, could be fun as an option. This would also allow a turret hardpoint option as well.
As to not including ordnance for a new ordnance firing hardpoint option, there IS ordnance in the core sets which you do require to play, officially.
