No, no removal of TLT.

TLTs were one of the best things happened to X-wing and the meta. It brought back HWK and Y-wings (rebel and scum ships at once), tremendously increasing the diversity of the meta

But if they escalate, there is always the option to put a limit on them (e.g maximum of 2 or 3 per squad allowed).

But I dont think they will be a big issue. People were just not prepared for Quad-TLTs, so the meta will change according to them, and then, when they are almost gone, balance will come back. Scuh as BBBBZ. Everybody was scared of this squad, but now you rarely see them (at least not more than most of the other squads)

I've long been a proponent of SJ, doesn't change the fact that playing against it is terribly boring.

I didn't find my matches against them boring so far. They were always pretty on edge with lots of manouvering to get into those holes or to isolate one of them. Didn't win any of them, but I got pretty close. Now when I was at the helm of quad-TLT that was were boredom kicked in a bit, but I helped that with the inclusion of Roark Garnet and a Stressbot. Made the list a bit more versatile and took away some of the autopilot turret feeling.

It's just too dull to play. That's my opinion. I'll bet there a zillion ways to play against it and we'll all find them. But for a while it's going to be death by a thousand cuts.

No nerf bat required. Just some gameplay time and effort.

What was the top 8 lists in the Spanish National Championship. I'm assuming there were more TLT lists out there in the tournament. Just want to see if TLT really dominate the tournament lists or not. Also, for the folks who watched the Championship game was it a close one or pretty one sided?

Sounds good but what do you use to stress yourself if Wired takes up the Elite slot and AT's taken the slot you could use for EI ?

Play "better"? Probably more like adjust to the capabilities of a new force in the metagame. But yeah, just because a build wins one nationals does not mean the world is ending.

So the list has now won one major national. Okay. How many has Dash won, Han, Phantoms?

I understand that it's a pretty strong list. But it's definitely beatable by a lot of other strong lists. I guess it will win some more tournaments from now on. But so will other new and old lists.

To me range adjustament is the way to go, Whisper, Carnor and Zeta Ace work really well against TLT. (I'm from Spain btw)

Y Wings aren't the most maneuverable ships and have dead ranges too with TLT, so it's not really that simple.

Even as one of the TLTurretwing meta's biggest fans, I agree that quad TLT is obnoxious. Still far less obnoxious than Fat Turretwing, and it had to be obnoxious to change the meta.

I think half of the people who hate them are Fat Turretwing players who are getting a taste of their own medicine. I know someone who loved to play Super Dash that HATES them, haha.

Couldn't you simply out damage them by flying an identical list, except with the BTL-A4 title? If you went rebels and R2 on 3 of them, you could make one an ion Stressbot. I know that sounds kind of stupid that the counter is just another quad Y list, but when they have the title they fly drastically different.

I flew Biggs walks the HWKs and got beaten by quad A-Wing. The TLT meta is fantastic OP.

Sensor Jammer exists. Not every god **** ship needs FCS as an auto include. Actual variety with the systems slot? No way!

I'd definitely thinking a pair of Green Squadron Test Pilots with Wired, PTL and Autothrusters will be great fun for getting up in the grill of those pesky TLT Ys / HWKs

2 TLT Y-wing lists on the top 16. Word is it was the only repeated list, so there were 15 different. I'm still trying to confirm what lists where on the top.

Fun fact: the champion actually did lose the first top16 game by points, but his rival (a BBBBZ list) had an error on the list (asteroids not marked) an received a -50 points penalty at the end of the game... losing it. The players didn't know the penalty during the game, so it didn't affect how they played.

Honestly? Just the IG's dial. Can even keep stress around by using turns as necessary.

Ran it vs a list earlier that had Rebel Captive on Kagi, so that was a great consistent stress source that wasn't a choice on his part.
