Wait ... how are people flying Omega Leader and Epsilon Leader already? Proxies?

The new Core set is out. :)

Err, my core set only came with Omega Ace and Zeta Ace...

EDIT: (Wait ... Epsilon Leader came in the core set, right? And the generics)

Right, Epsilon Leader is core set. The expansion will be reversed with leaders where we have aces and Epsilon Ace. Pretty boring, but I guess FFG weren't allowed to make up names. Still can't see how nickname style names like Deathrain or Echo would interfere with Disneys canon, but I guess thats what we have now. It is not like generic aces don't also have some advantages like inserting RPG characters etc. but it kind of feels off to me considering this is the first time they have done something like that.

I think more options will come - given the Tech slot - there's EPT + Tech which will allow for your "green squad" builds - but at the moment, there just aren't options. Banking an evade will be pretty awesome - Weapons guidance is pretty good too - but costly.

2 attack is fine, there are plenty of 1/2 agi targets - and the F/o has the maneuverability to hit range 1. It's a much better endgame ship than a tie fighter. It's a light duelist - very good one on one, and in close - something the tie fighter can't quite do. Set one of these vs. a b-wing and I'll bet on the tie F/o.

Yes, but Omega Leader must have been proxied because thats in the Wave 8 TIE/FO expansion.

Isn't there a Star Wars action figure called a "Death Squad Commander"? These generic names have that sort of vibe going on. Epsilon Leader is a better name than Meek L'aserbottoms or your typical Star Wars name.

Once Comms relay hits, the FO will basically take over the role that the Advanced used to hold. Replace the second shield with a Evade token, and it's basically an 18-point PS1 Tempest with a better dial and a single replenishing shield point.
