So due to non-existen community of players in my area, my best friends insistence to spend time with his girlfriend and the rest of my groups of friend willingness to only play fun games (resistance and mascarade) i am left loving armada in a platonic way. But I want some games and so i've decided to give vassal a try. Yet, due to the somewhat complicated nature of it, i prefer no to go looking for random games but to first play with someone who will have patience, preferable with access to voice chat (using discord, so as not to give away private Skype numbers).

I joined the tournament, im out during the week but ill PM you guys next week to se when I can get some Vassal practice before the tournament. On the other hand maybe we should make a telegram group for the tournament, and Vassal in general.

Hanging out in vassal lobby is a good way to get games going, and the more people start doing it the easier it'll be.
At the moment there are usually only a couple of people online at a time, but during tournament season I saw over dozen. I'd expect something similar soon with the Wave 1 tournament that is about to begin.
