Epic fluff is epic.
One question: How did you create that flame effect on the Y-wing, what did you use?
where are all the A-wings!?!?

it's an old product by GF9 for Flames Of War called "Smoke and Flame". It's basically just colored cotton ![]()

We're rookies! They don't just let anyone fly those or the B-Wings! An A-Wing pilot makes an appearance a few missions in, once he levels up his Pilot Skill to do so.
Sneak Peak:
I love that you've greated a player squadron with it's own background and growing style. That is simply awesome. So very awesome.
Thanks! It's been a blast. Each player painted their own ship and everything ![]()
Yeah, I can see I'm going to have to buy an extra y-wing to paint as the Shadowblade.
Well Nerf-Herders. This was fun!
More to come! First mission next week!
this is awesome.
Great stuff.
Indeed, this is awesome. I can't wait to hear more about these verdant heroes.
Thanks guys! Glad you're enjoying it! I can't wait to post the Battle Reports!

Green 2, standing by!
Thanks DariusAPB. Steve and I are definitely going to discuss some points on what we feel were keys to success for the Green Squadron weekend on an upcoming Intensify Forward Firepower podcast.
Other than using green as a paint theme, we really had no background or style set up beforehand. One of the most enjoyable things about this was that the story of Green Squadron wrote itself as more people got involved, stepped out, stepped back in, etc. As a participant, it was really fun to game with these guys for an entire weekend, listening to nothing but Williams' movie tracks, after shaving a Star Wars Stache and buying some beverages, creating a really great story along the way.
I can't suggest Josh's work on this campaign enough!
Alright alright more to come in the future - I tend to get on a nonstop gush tangent when the Cluster gets mentioned.
Already planning a (brutal on the players) Imperial version for my guys... Though it's more fixed/fluid missions (no deckshuffles) one guy gets and keeps squad leader, they get xp and may update / EPT. / ships available limited to what ships their command ship have + their general level of prestige.
I'll be playing the rebel campaign as is too.
N.I.C.E.
Great back story and awesome looking squadron. One thing though, why did you put random words in captial letters? I read those words as yelling in my head and it messed the story up a bit!!!!
I was trying to match the Opening Scrawl, man!
