Happy friday all, Let's look at the positives:
Finally able to buy extra/different coloured bases soon.
FFG giving out free damage decks in worlds.
New FAQs and errata, with large base ships taking a huge kick in the meta, I'm going to love the shakeup.
New Core set available at FLGS
We're excited about Wave 8.

Man, I thought my local would have the Core Sets last night and was quite disappointed that I missed out. Not sure if I'll get out there before next week.
I did manage to sell some 28mm WWII stuff for a nice chunk of change and will be able to buy most of what I want from Wave 7 and Wave 8 now!

The reason for this is obvious: I ordered my Stormtrooper suit for a con, and I tend to obsess over subjects, same reason I ordered the anovos TIE pilot suit after getting into x-wing, and then playing through TIE Fighter and XvT...

The reason I ordered the stormtrooper suit is that because anovos is new to official licensing it's delivery of the TIE Pilot suit was delayed until april-june next year.
Don't Worry, When I get it I WILL also get a flight yoke, and play TIE Fighter. And post pics here.
Yes, I believe the Flight Yoke is a detail that needs to be got. Joystick no longer really feels right....

I did find an Imperial Fleet Officer's cap for $30 or so. It's been a bit warm to wear it so far, but with the weather cooling, I should break it out. Especially with the Raider.

Sunday is a tournament in town. We're trying something different. 2v2 with each person bringing 75 points each. Should be interesting if nothing else!
