Can i buy specific missing cards?

By thiagolbahia, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Soo SAD!!

Lost a wildander Card (the starting bow!)

Is there a way to buy only specific lost cards? Does Fantasy flight dos that?

Thanks!

ps: also looking for extra die!

FFG sells a dice pack (1 [blue, black, brown] and 2 [yellow, red, gray]). They do not sell individual cards. You could try the customer support, but it sounds like you lost it and this was not a manufacturing problem.

EDIT: You could just print another one off . This could be done with thick paper, or there are card printing services people use to make custom cards. It really all depends how much having a card that looks and feels exactly like the others is worth to you. If it were me personally, printing an image out on cardstock would be fine, since it isn't a card that ever needs to be shuffled or hidden.

This just gives a great excuse to get a better weapon right off the bat!!!!!!!!

Lol. FFG sent me a missing fire imp mini, their customer service is the best.

I concur that FFG's support is some of the best in the business.

After a month of playing D2e each and every day for 12+ hours recently, we accidentally destroyed my "Nothing" card from the Search deck. When I say destroyed, it was basically bent in half severely - so much so it was instantly recognizable within the deck. No amount of bending back, manipulating it, etc. would make it better.

I sent an e-mail to FFG's customer support. I explained the situation. I took full blame for the issue. I asked if there was anyway to get another one - I even expressed a willingness to pay for the item.

Not only did they not charge me, they sent me a COMPLETE set of cards from the base game ... each and every card that came with the game.

So, I would assume you should have no issue getting one from them.

Perhaps some background would help ... :P

Prior to this time, I was in the hospital for nearly a year. If you have ever been in a hospital for say 2-3 days ... think about that for a moment ... think about how sick you were of it, and how badly you wanted to get out.

Now make it a year.

I happen to also be retired, as our my friends. This translates into a lot of time on my hands, with not much to do, and some good friends trying to make up for lost time, as I don't know how long I have left.

All of this ends up in good times. I am so tired now, but gaming every day has been such a blessing ...

A similar thing happened to me when beer got spilled all over my Eldritch Horror board. I emailed customer service explaining the situation and asked how much it would cost to buy a replacement board. The representative told me they would send me a new one free of charge. I was stunned. Here I screwed up and wrecked part of my game and they happily sent me a new component.

The great customer service is one of the many reasons Fantasy Flight Games is my favorite publisher.

Well, a simpler solution would have been to bend all the cards from the Search deck to make the damaged card unrecognizable. This would have saved some trees :P

@any2cards: yeah, I remember you talking about it in another thread. I think you're a very strong guy...if happened to me, I probably would lost my mind. And I'm talking seriously.

Wish you the best, friend. And enjoy your half day of Descent everyday :)

I would love it if FGG sold an upgrade pack with the fixed Errata cards and updated campaign book for those of us that got the first print run. I hate playing cardinals plight and having to always explain to my more 'rule conscious' friends that things are not as written.

I second that excellent suggestion to FFG. We just did a campaign with an new OL and I forgot to mention the change to the OL cards and it messed up his strategy.
