Eh. So you can't dodge getting punished for landing on the rock anymore. I'm not exactly sad about that.

Has anyone else seen how they changed the deploy ship rule. If you now have a ship that has been destroyed that has the pup you deploy the pup with one face down damage card
The rule for the large ships (50% points for 50% suffered hits) is totally absurd. They should have modified it with a system based upon the number of total wounds (shields + hull). Let's say that a ship with 10 or more wounds (we could call it "armored" as a reminder) awards the opponent with the 50% of its point value if he manages to (at least) halve its wounds at the end of the game.
The actual rule (while reasonable, if we consider ships like Decimator or YT) only hurts miniatures like the Aggressor, while awarding no point for damaging beasts like the new Tie Punisher.
R3-A2 Y-Wings cannot double (triple)-stress a target now with TLT. Not sure if this was how people were playing pre-FAQ. Conventional stresshog still works though as it's not treated as a combined attack, and Cluster Missile + Tactician still works the same as it triggers off the end of the attack.
I always assumed it worked that way. Range 3 triple stress would be a bit too much.

Actually, that section is about 'docked' ships. Which I think is an explanation that is included for the impending Gozanti Cruiser release in wave 8 (which can have docked ties).
That section also states that the docked ships cost normal squad points.
Interesting, I don't think we had that information before. So I wonder what would be the benefit of having docked ships instead of deployed from start (aside from the fact that I guess you can move as the cruiser and deploy, covering more distance with the Ties in that turn, except that the Ties can't attack that turn...)

The benefit that I see is launching flanking ships that are typically shield less into key positions up close to the enemy, rather than risking long range fire.
And we know that in the case of the Phantom, when it's docked, Ghost can fire out the back too
It will always receive two ion tokens. That particular entry just clarifies the loss of action.

Conner NetIf a Conner Net is dropped overlapping a ship andimmediately detonates, and that ship has not yetactivated this phase, that ship executes the maneuveron its dial as normal and skips its “Perform Action”step.Does that means that this ship does not get 2 ion tokens?
No, it just means the Ion effect doesn't immediatly occur as the Ion rules card implies.
They brought back barrel rolling off asteroids!
